Action Learning is a transformational reflective process in which groups of peers work together, over a period of time to support each other to overcome challenges which they face in their working lives. In my experience working with a group of peers in this way can:
- Help you gain perspective and new ideas
- Validate new ways of thinking
- Help you move forward in new ways in your work and life
- Action Learning Sets are also a useful support for organisations wanting to work on issues around wellbeing and interested in building a culture that is more resilient and humane culture.
I am an accredited action learning facilitator, trained by Action Learning Associates and a member of the IFAL. If you are interested in joining a set or in me creating one in your organisation please contact me via maryannmhina@gmail.com.
‘Working on Action Learning with Mary Ann is a great and non-threatening way to explore and seek to resolve work challenges and also improve your own practice – asking good questions and helping people to find their own answers‘
Senior NGO Manager
‘I have found Action Learning a really useful tool, especially as a CEO of a fairly small organisation. It means I have shared learning with people in similar circumstances who nevertheless bring a refreshing perspective on issues faced. I have learned more from listening to others than from the issues I brought to the table. Very humbling and supportive.‘
